Grilled Sausage with Onions & Peppers

8 links fresh Italian sausage
2 red bell peppers, sliced thin
1 sweet yellow onion, sliced thin
1 cup sweet Marsala wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Kosher salt


In pre-heated pan on high heat, brown sausage thoroughly on all sides.

Set aside sausage on paper towels. Drain off excess grease from the pan.

In the same pan, add the olive oil and brown onions until softened (approximately 3-5 minutes); then add peppers and crushed red pepper. Cook an additional 3 minutes.

Add sausage back into pan. Then add Marsala wine to deglaze the pan. Cook until wine is reduced (approximately 3-5 minutes).

Then add chicken stock and cook until completely reduced. Add salt and pepper to taste.
