Roasted Garlic

Roasted garlic is delicious on toasted French bread or as a side dish for most grilled meats.


6 garlic bulbs
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper


Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.

Trim top of garlic bulbs without cutting into cloves and remove outer shell of paper to expose the cloves.

Place heads in shallow roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cover with foil and roast for 1 hour.

Uncover and baste cloves with pan juices for 15 minutes longer.
